Kindergarten-Fluency & Expression

Great book we used today in kindergarten to get kiddos thinking about how their voices should sound when they are reading a book. We talked about how we don't want to read like robots (we.will.go.to.the.store), but we want to read like we would be naturally talking. If we see a question mark than we ask in a questioning voice. If there is a period we have our regular voice when we read, not a crazy loud one. They seemed to really enjoy the book and when they got their bag books out today to practice the room was buzzing with voice exploration...music to our ears !
