  3. Model and encourage your child to track print.

  4. Read a word or sentence and have your child repeat it.

  5. Take turns reading each page.

  6. Talk about the story as your read. What do you think will happen next? What does this story remind you of?

  7. Read the story again! Repeated reading builds fluency and confidence!
