3rd Grade: Word Hunt Day

The students were working hard searching for words today that we have been practicing. They wore their detective tags as they were searching for different words within magazines. The task was to not only search for the words, but circle them when they found them. Then they checked themselves by using a UV flashlight. I previously went and circled some words in the magazines with invisible ink that could only be seen with the special UV flashlight. To say the least this activity was a hit!
