Kindergarten: Reading our books in our choice spot.

When it is time for reading the students grab their bag of books and head right to their reading spot of choice. They agreed that this spot is a quiet spot, where they can focus the best on their reading. Students were sitting at tables, laying under tables, curled up in a corner of the room, sitting in the kitchen area, sitting under the teacher's desk and sprawled out on the rug. It was an amazing sight to see. They actually get disappointed when our reading time comes to an end, but we remind them that they can continue right where they left off tomorrow. Doesn't get any better than that!
