3rd Grade--Writing about Reading

Third Graders writing about their book, The Gecko That Came to School, and what happened when the little girl brought her Gecko to school. They discussed and used the book to help them. You notice in the second photo one of my third grade friends is using a spacing tool to help keep the words at an even space from one another. Also, you can see part of our writing checklist in the last photo in the upper right hand corner. This checklist helps us make sure we are using capital letters, punctuation, rereading our work, and adding all the information needed.
